Hi everybody -
Welcome to the new subscribers who have found me because my beautiful and amazing husband recently wrote about me. One thing that may not be clear from his hagiographics is that my main healing work is to remind you of your own amazing abilities.
To do that, I teach classes on the principle of healing overlooked by main-stream medicine, but evident from an understanding of Interbeing, which I call Resonant Attention. I’m mainly trying to point out that “Attention plus allowance equals healing,” which I think can help us redefine healthcare in ways that will make it more accessible, cheaper, and with better outcomes—and I think we might as well re-skill medicine now rather than waiting for others to do it for us.
My next Intro Class will be held via Zoom on September 26th and October 3rd and 10th from 11am - 1pm EASTERN. You can sign up here.
I do also do individual sessions, but only a few and these go fast. If you don’t find any available, please check back. Cancellations will automatically repopulate to the calendar and I put up new ones at the beginning (more or less) of each month.
If you need a healer sooner, please peruse the wonderful practitioners listed on my website. Some are newer and others have highly successful practices; all have taken my Intro class. I know Zach Evans is particularly interested in new clients and he’s excellent.
Lastly, I will be leading a Resonant Attention workshop at Brave Earth in Costa Rica from October 16th to 20th. You can find out more at resonantattention.com under ‘Offerings.’ If you’re ready to sign up, email stellaosorojos@gmail.com.
Have a lovely rest of your summer. Here’s a tile my son Cary recently painted, having nothing obvious to do with Resonant Attention, but so cool anyway!
Love,
Stella
Thank you for the reminder that we are the medicine we are looking for. I too found my way here from the article Charles posted. This summer I've been working on a few physical ailments that are really taking me deep within.
It's late for me and I cannot sleep with this latest back pain issue and I am really enjoying reading your posts. I am rarely interested in social media because I much prefer in person connection. Substack feels way more intimate than other platforms. In this moment, I am so grateful that I can find new people who share values around supporting what wants to emerge in the field of healing and life in general with more love, grace, and curiosity. I am grateful to meet you all at this time.🙏
